Dance of Birds, by Sewoon Kim

I was recording this great cd in October 2016 in Jeju Island. The musicians and the amazing island gave me an unforgettable memory.

Sewoon Kim has finded  a new combination of jazz and classical style and presents a JAZZ CHAMBER with a unique instrumentation of flute, clarinet, violin, viola, cello, double bass and piano. A new harmonious jazz chamber fused the forms and improvisation of jazz with a classic chamber sound of strings. In "My Arirang",  She reinterpreted Korean folk song in combination with jazz, classic and Korean trditional music style.
